07:59 AM EDT, 04/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Cannnabis retailer High Tide Inc. (Nasdaq: HITI and HITI.V) on Monday reported the opening of a new Canna Cabana store in Cochrane, Alberta and provided an update on its German Medical cannabis market entry.

The cannabis company said that its Canna Cabana retail cannabis store in Cochrane commenced selling recreational cannabis products and consumption accessories for adult use on April. 20 bringing its store count to 196 Canna Cabana branded locations across Canada, and 85 in Alberta.

The Calgary, Alberta based company also said it stays dedicated in its plan to enter the German medical cannabis market and that it has "engaged in negotiations with multiple potential partners and is encouraged by the progress made to date".

"Our goal remains to leverage the $1.7 billion in Canadian cannabis sales we've generated since 2018 to position High Tide as the supplier of choice for medical cannabis exports into Germany," said High Tide's Chief Executive Officer Raj Grover.
