05:05 PM EDT, 09/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Atico Mining (ATY.V) late on Wednesday it reached a significant milestone after Ecuador's Ministry of the Environment, Water, and Ecological Transition (MAATE) completed the Community Participation Process for Environmental Consultation (PPC).

The announcement marks the final step to securing its environmental license for the La Plata VMS project in Ecuador.
