Asian ADRs Move Sharply Lower in Monday Trading

In North Asia, the gainers were led by aluminum producer Aluminum Corporation of China Limited (ACH) and online financial planning platform Jiayin Group Inc. (JFIN), which climbed 12.4% and 5.7% respectively. They were followed by travel company Tuniu Corporation (TOUR) and oil and gas company PetroChina Company Limited (PTR), which rose 7.4% and 6.6%.

The decliners in North Asia were led by consumer finance services provider LexinFintech Holdings Ltd. (LX) and technology company Xunlei Limited (XNET), which fell 11.8% and 13.4% respectively. They were followed by financial technology firm 360 DigiTech, Inc. (QFIN) and news aggregator Qutoutiao Inc. (QTT), which lose 9.4% and 7.5%.

In South Asia, the lone gainer was mining company Vedanta Limited (VEDL), which rose 4.6%.

The decliners in South Asia were led by IT firm Sify Technologies Limited (SIFY) and digital entertainment company Sea Limited (SE), which fell 6.3% and 5.2% respectively. They were followed by pharmaceutical company Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Limited (RDY) and HDFC Bank Limited (HDB), which were down 3.6% and 2.9%.
