European ADRs Move Sharply Lower in Friday Trading

In continental Europe, the gainers were led by computer peripherals maker Logitech International (LOGI) and semiconductor company STMicroelectronics (STM), which rose 1.6% and 1.3% respectively. They were followed by biopharmaceutical company Biofrontera (BFRA) and pharmaceutical firm Sanofi (SNY), which were up 3.2% and 0.6%.

The decliners in continental Europe were led by internet browser company Opera Limited (OPRA) and furniture maker Natuzzi (NTZ), which fell 6% and 6.3% respectively. They were followed by dating app operator Spark Networks (LOV) and biopharmaceutical company Grifols (GRFS), which lost 5.6% and 4.3%.

In the UK and Ireland, the gainers were led by software firm Endava (DAVA), which rose 2.5% followed by cruise line operator Carnival Corporation & plc (CUK) and Trinity Biotech plc (TRIB), which were up 1.3% and 1.2% respectively.

The decliners in the UK and Ireland were led by airplane lessor Fly Leasing Limited (FLY) and biotech firm Autolus Therapeutics (AUTL), which fell 14% and 3.8% respectively. They were followed by medical device maker EDAP TMS (EDAP) and biopharmaceutical company Mereo BioPharma Group (MREO), which were down 2.3% and 1.5%.
