European ADRs Move Lower in Thursday Trading

In continental Europe, the gainers were led by biotech firms Forward Pharma (FWP) and BioNTech (BNTX), which climbed 7.4% and 4.4% respectively. They were followed by biopharmaceutical companies ERYTECH Pharma (ERYP) and Cellectis (CLLS), which rose 3.7% and 3.5%.

The decliners in continental Europe were led by investment bank Deutsche Bank (DB) and furniture maker Natuzzi (NTZ), which fell 10% and 5.6% respectively. They were followed by 3D printer company voxeljet (VJET) and financial services firm Credit Suisse Group (CS), which lost 5.1% and 4.6%.

In the UK and Ireland, the gainers were led by biopharmaceutical companies Akari Therapeutics (AKTX) and NuCana (NCNA), which rose 5.6% each. They were followed by biopharmaceutical companies Verona Pharma (VRNA) and Bicycle Therapeutics (BCYC), which increased 4.5% and 4.4%.

The decliners in the UK and Ireland were led by financial services company Barclays (BCS) and communications group WPP (WPP), which dropped 4.4% and 3.7% respectively. They were followed by financial services company Lloyds Banking Group (LYG) and biopharmaceutical company Mereo BioPharma Group (MREO), which were down 3.1% each.
