07:30 AM EDT, 09/10/2019 (MT Newswires) -- Stock market investors remained cautious ahead of key central bank meetings this month, Action Economics said. The DAX was up 0.2% at midday while the FTSE 100 was flat alongside losses in U.S. futures. There is still lingering hope of progress in U.S.-Sino trade talks after Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin signaled "lots of progress on talks" recently, although that didn't prevent China bourses from heading south and ultimately markets will need more tangible signs that a deal is close, AE said. The CSI 300 and Shanghai Comp closed with losses of -0.34% and -0.12% respectively, underperforming versus Topix and Nikkei, which climbed 0.44% and 0.35%, while the Hang Seng closed little changed.
