09:11 AM EST, 02/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Technology stocks edged higher premarket Thursday as the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) rose by 0.1% and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) advanced by 0.7% recently.

AppLovin (APP) shares rallied 30% after the company Wednesday reported higher Q4 net income and revenue.

Sony Group (SONY) shares were up over 5% after the company reported higher fiscal Q3 earnings and sales. The company also raised its fiscal 2024 sales outlook.

Datadog (DDOG) shares fell past 6% after the company issued guidance for Q1 and 2025 non-GAAP net income per share below analysts' expectations.
