From continental Europe, the gainers were led by biopharmaceutical company DBV Technologies (DBVT) and biotech firm Evaxion Biotech (EVAX), which advanced 9.2% and 4.1%, respectively. They were followed by biopharmaceutical company Cellectis (CLLS) and 3D printer company Materialise (MTLS), which were up 3.3% and 1.2%, respectively.
The decliners from continental Europe were led by biotech firm BioNTech (BNTX) and biopharmaceutical company Grifols (GRFS), which fell 4.4% and 2.2%, respectively. They were followed by semiconductor company Sequans Communications (SQNS) and pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk (NVO), which dropped 2% and 1.4%, respectively.
From the UK and Ireland, the gainers were led by biopharmaceutical company Akari Therapeutics (AKTX) and utilities company National Grid (NGG), which increased 7.1% and 0.7%, respectively. They were followed by biopharmaceutical company TC Biopharm (TCBP) and mining company BHP Group (BHP), which rose 0.5% and 0.4%, respectively.
The decliners from the UK and Ireland were led by biopharmaceutical company Biodexa Pharmaceuticals (BDRX) and pharmaceutical company Silence Therapeutics (SLN), which lost 29% and 5.6%, respectively. They were followed by biopharmaceutical company NuCana (NCNA) and biotech firm Autolus Therapeutics (AUTL), which were down 5.1% and 4.4%, respectively.
